POWER POINT!

After being incredibly frustrated last week with Excel, I finally feel releaved to be working with powerpoint. I have made several detailed powerpoints in the past, and can honestly say that I feel more comfortable with PP than Excel. I love messing around with different features and discovering new tools. Powerpoint is more easy to navigate and more fun to use! This is a program that ANY teacher can use in the classroom. As an English teacher, I feel that I can make interesting and interactive presentations to my class instead of just a lecture. The use of audio and video will especially grab the attention and interest of students. I am excited to play around with this presentation and learn more about Powerpoint.

I, too, feel much more comfortable using PowerPoint rather than Excel. PowerPoint seems much more applicable to teaching Spanish as well as English. I am less intimidated by PowerPoint because I feel it is easier to navigate and less focused on producing formulas.

I completely agree! I like PowerPoint much better than Excel. I feel like it is easier to navigate around. I am not sure if that is because it truly is easier or because I have just worked with PowerPoint more. Either way, I prefer it over Excel.

I do like all of the features that PowerPoint has, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that I like it better than Excel. I think that Excel is much more useful, especially in the field of mathematics. Although PowerPoint can make things very aesthetically pleasing, I just find more value out of Excel.
